DESCRIPTION:Auditions for Dragonsocks and the Queen of the Universe \nWritten by local playwright Brendon Smith \nDirected by Suzan Kurry (Artistic Director of KR Women’s Theater) \nJosephine is spiteful\, bitter\, sharp-tongued\, and absolutely certain everyone in the nearby town hates her—especially after she decked someone she thought was her sister. With nowhere else to turn\, her adult child\, Reg\, brings Indy\, a prototype robotic caregiver with infinite patience. What follows is a comedy fueled by stubbornness\, sarcasm\, and unexpected heart\, asking whether it’s ever possible to rewrite our programming—human or otherwise. \n\n\n\nSunday\, August 30 from 1 PM – 3 PM\nMonday\, August 31 from 7:15 PM -10 PM\n\n\n\nLocation: Wil-Mar Neighborhood Center\, 504 S Brearly St \nAuditions will consist of cold readings from the script.
