Audition: Lucid Dreaming: “Department of More”

We have auditions for a January 2027 sketchy comedy collaboration with Lucid Dreaming and Broom Street Theater called “Department of More.” The show will rehearse in December and January (with a break for the holidays) and perform 3 weekends from 1/15/27 to 1/31/27. If you’ve never seen a Lucid Dreaming Sketch show before, they produce short, scripted comedy scenes written by local talent. You can learn more about their shows and workshops at luciddreamingsketch.com.

Audition Dates:
Saturday, 10/24 from 1-3pm at 1119 Williamson Street (Broom Street Theater)

Wednesday, 10/28 from 6:30-8:30pm at 504 S. Brearly St. (Wil-Mar Community Center)

Please fill out this audition form ahead of time to save yourself some paperwork when you arrive. The audition will consist of cold readings from scripts for previous shows. Auditioners are encouraged to also submit writing pieces.

Writing Submissions
We’re also looking for writing submissions for our show. Pieces are typically around 5 minutes long and you can submit up to 5 for consideration.

You can email your scripts to luciddreamingsketch@gmail.com on or before 10/24/26. If you want to send an early draft you can reach out via email or attend one of our free writing workshops.
